Ability to add gift attributes (custom fields) in NXT and NXT Batch
NXT allows users to see existing custom fields and add new ones to existing gift record. There is no functionality to add custom fields while entering a new gift gift record.
Many orgs rely heavily on attributes as basic fields in the database. These attributes are added to each and every gift entered. Going back into every gift entered in order to add the necessary attributes is not a a viable solution. There is a need for gift attributes to be available when initially adding a gift

It would be incredibly helpful if custom fields could also be set at the batch configuration level, allowing a selected custom field and value to automatically apply to every gift entered in that batch.
For organizations that use the same custom field on every gift—or on a large group of gifts within a particular batch—having to select and enter the same information gift by gift adds unnecessary time and creates more opportunity for inconsistency. Being able to configure it once for the entire batch would make NXT Batch significantly more efficient.
I have to have this before using batch in NXT!
This is just yet another reason why we continue to enter BATCHES in database view. We really need custom fields in NXT gifts
