Allow Giving statement emails to be customized
In "Gift receipting" and "Giving Statements" (formerly "consolidated receipting"), under the Fundraising tab in web view:
- the usefulness of these functions is greatly hampered by the limited types of gifts/payments that it pulls from. Specifically, not being able to receipt stock gifts in the giving statements renders them nearly useless. We get a lot of stock gifts!
- it would be helpful to have a place in the record where you can note a preference for email receipts, rather than printed and mailed receipts, rather than having to come up with some home-grown way to do that.
- it is also not great that we can't precede a giving statement email by some kind of automatically generated, customizable email, that we can use to let the recipient know what is coming and why we're sending it. I know we can do that on our own but there ought to be a way to do that from the web view page.
- I'd also like to be able to plug in a query (list) for giving statements, so that I can generate those statements for a group of people at once, rather than one at a time

Gah! Stock gifts aren't included in giving statements! Please include options for Gift Type and also allow us to add language so that this could be utilized as a tax statement.

Why would Blackbaud not have included a Gift Type filter from the initial design of this? It seems like such a no-brainer that different orgs might want different gift types to display - and how hard is it to add a simple filter? (hint - I don't think it is that hard)

Really want to use this but just not useful as is. Must be able to customize email and pdf, which includes adding headers, logos and other personalized information. And be able to remove some of the included information - receipt number and date, gift type , etc. and/or include summary information only. The giving statement gets quite long for our payroll donors and they would be happy with an overall summary.

For as complicated a UX Raiser's Edge NXT provides, it does not give nearly enough option to customize. This is just another example of that. This needs to be fixed fast.

Agree with the above and would like to add the Fund Type into the statement as well to help constituents remember different types of gifts.

Agree with all of the above, and would also like the ability to decide whether to display soft credits or not, or at least have the date filter also filter our soft credits (which currently it does not!).
