Include all field within RE Database view to merge using the merging function in RE NXT

When using the merge function in RE NXT, the information on the donor's membership and prospect fields are not fields that can be merged within RE NXT. These have to be done separately in the Database view. It is counter productive to have to use both RE NXT and the Database view when merging records. This functionality should be added to RE NXT.

    Crazy that only the other month they email about being 'committed to delivering a total web solution... our goal is to allow you and your team to complete end-to-end workflows all in one place' but you still need to do this simple task twice...

    This 'idea' is almost three years old now.

    This has caused us lots of problems recently with the JustGiving integration creating another constituent record if something isn't quite lining up for an existing record. When merging we have lost information and sometimes gained two sets of everything? This really needs to be looked at so we can just merge all fields from a record in NXT (web view). Thank you.

    Really hope this one gets looked at - merging records is causing a few problems for us and supporters so it would be great to be able to just merge everything in one platform!

    Yes! We believed best practise would be to perform a merge in RENXT web view to move everything across that's only in webview, and then merge again in database view, to move things across only in DB view. However, we have a JustGiving integration, and when you do this, it remove the peer to peer fundraising tile. Very annoying! There should be just one merge function to move everything.

    We should also have the ability to delete the inactive record in RENXT web view.

    Yes, please fix this. Also, add warnings in webview merge then there is a problem that doesn't allow it to merge.

    Yes, and likewise, there is info that exists in the web view (such as Email History) that causes the need for having to separately merge records in both web view and database view. This really needs to be remedied. We should be able to merge a record in one fell swoop from one view and all data is included.
