Absolutely imperative to be able to link a tribute to a gift in WV gift batch entry. It is a time saving, efficient feature in dbv, and one of the reasons I will continue to use dbv gift batch exclusively while I can. Entering gifts, committing a batch and then hunting for gifts to add a tribute opens gift entry up to errors, omissions, and an inconsiderate burden on our limited time.

Same problem here. Brings more work and more cleanup and unecessary duplicate records.

Yes, agree! We've ended up with a few duplicate constituents because of this too. That's created confusion and more work to go back and clean up records. We should be able to link Tributes in NXT Gift Management Batches. It would be great if we could also set letter codes/acknowledgement status for Acknowledgees (or be able to note that there is not an Acknowledgee separate from the donor) in Batch too.
