There is a KB article that claims that all gift types from the Database view carry over to NXT for Gift Management (entry) on that side. This is not so. In an effort to explore ways to expedite processes for my database manager, I attempted to enter a gift via NXT. The gift type I needed was not there (but exists on our Database side). I continued the entry, figuring that I would just adjust the type on the Database side or if not, I would simply delete the gift. Entering via NXT not only did not have the gift type I needed, it also would not allow me to adjust OR delete the gift on the database side! I had to do a huge workaround just to get rid of this gift. So as you can see, the problem is twofold, making NXT not really a viable option for gift entry operations. Would be great if you could smooth out that functionality. Thanks!
