I want to add another layer to this. I find it silly that you give us the access to restrict specific dashboards from users but don't restrict the insight design itself. We built some insights and dropped them into a dashboard for our leadership team. We gave access to the dashboard to only the leadership team users. However, any user has access to view only access to dashboards, they can see all the insights, including the ones that were built just for the leadership team of the office that should not be seen by the general office population. If we need to have the option to hide a specific dashboard from select office users, we should be able to have that option for the insights too. Otherwise it's useless to hide dashboards if users can still see the insights. And yes, there's people nosy enough to run these sensitive insights if they come across them.
