We recently shipped the ability to generate a PDF Gift receipt from this area to help with receipting needs related to donors that do not have an email address on file. We don't filter out those donors from the Gift receipting list as this Idea implies, but I do believe we're covering the use case that is being called out specifically. As such, I'm going to close out this Idea as Will not implement, but I hope this comment explains the reason for that.
