Donor Self Manage for Recurring Gift

We'd like to have a way for a donor to make changes to their own recurring gifts. Initially we could give them the ability to terminate a recurring gift, at which point, they could add a new recurring gifts with a different amount if their intent was to change the amount

    This seems like a crucial and obvious function of donor management software. I'd like to see this implemented.

    Actually, I had an additioanl idea on how to implement this.
    What if a donor adds a recurring gift online. An email is sent to the donor including wording to "Save this email, the link below will allow you to manage this recurring gift." (Kind of like Craigslist") If the donor clicks the link it connects them to that recurring gift allowing them to terminate and start new, or whaever actions may be allowed for a recurring gift.
