We ask donors to consider increasing their gifts each year. It has been a barrier to some that they have to end their gift (they don't want us to be confused when we get the message saying they've stopped their gift), and start the process over. Someone giving $XX should have the ability to simply increase (or decrease if the need arises--this seems like an option that might prevent some donors from stopping altogether when their financial situation changes for hte worse) that recurring gift amount to $XX without having to cancel and start all over.
