My understanding is that the Gift Type of "Other" is not included in the Analyze dashboards.  In order for this to be consistent, we need to be able to exclude it from Lifetime Giving.  This would mean we can utilize "Other" for things like Event Registration - which would be extremely useful.  The way it is set up now means that "Other" is included in Lifetime Giving.
