Workflow Designer to allow for Opportunity records and updates to Opportunities

Vote YES!!! if you would love to have workflow designer manage your staff workload for constituents with opportunities. Workflow Designer currently only allows for criteria of new gift. Would be nice if it could look at other records in the system. Consider.... New Gift with open Opportunities. The ability to change workflow based on an opportunity record, and upcoming expected gift dates, ask dates, and an opportunity being funded. All of these items could be managed from Workflow Designer if it allowed for criteria of Opportunity records. At this point 7/2020 you cannot even select a group of constituents who have an opportunity.

Great idea. Could somebody from admin note why this is marked "need further info"? Attached screenshots show you can only select specific constituents or gifts, but the ability to add an action or send an email based on opportunity lists, configured deadlines, or opportunity statuses would be great.

I see that this post is close to 2 years old but I'd like to encourage its inclusion in a future update. Kylee has it right, at least in my situation.

This is definitely a great idea Lisa Sisson. And, yes Kylee, I think this can be accomplished in Lists as long as we can whittle down the criteria under Opportunity (i.e. Purpose, Status, Campaign, Fund...)

Hi! Thank you for posting this Idea, since this is not one that I have heard requested before, and it sounds very valuable. It seems to me that we just need the ability in Lists in NXT to be able to filter by an Opportunity so that you could use that List for a workflow. Does that sound right? If so, I can definitely mention this to the team that owns Lists to see if this is on their radar at all.
