Designate fundraiser type in Workflow Designer

Our prospects often have multiple 'fundraisers' assigned at different levels for various lengths of time, but only ever have one Gift Officer. It would be great to be able to distinguish between solicitor types when creating workflows. I could also see how we could have multiple, simultaneous workflows for our prospects this way.

EXAMPLE: the Gift Officer has our typical discovery workflow while our dean/faculty can have a "Architecture Lecture & Events" workflow.

Workflow designer is useless without this feature. We need to be able to assign to specific fundraiser types.

Currently, unless a workflow is created for a specific person, I have to assign ALL workflow actions to myself and then manually review and update to the person with the pertinent fundraiser role so the workflow doesn't flag the wrong person. This is unsustainable. Please allow selection based on fundraiser type.

This is an ongoing issue in workflows- this has been a roadblock, and we do not use workflows as often as we could if this one small thing was introduced.

Is there any update on this? What is the suggested work around?

We have this problem as well and it defeats the purpose of Workflows if we can't assign the correct fundraiser to the donor.

Yes, using First active does not make a lot of sense.

Yes please! We have several different types of fundraisers. Using the "first active" fundraiser does not help.

Agreed, this is an important distinction needed within Workflow to make it functional.
