I received a message "An unexpected error occurred" so I logged out, logged in, etc etc. Finally contacted help. Had to troubleshoot a handful of things (cashe, different browser, etc) and it turns out the error was that I didn't have security clearance to post a "note" with that specific title. A more specific error such as "you do not have access to this notepad" would have saved two days of back and forth with Blackbaud. "Unexpected error" was very unclear to something that was very specific.
