As per the Help Topic:

Note: To convert a recurring gift with a frequency of monthly, quarterly, or every six months, its schedule must be set to process installments on a specific day. For example, you can convert a gift that processes on day 15 of every month, but you cannot convert a gift that processes on the first Friday of every month.

Unfortunately, this is the exact functionality we need! We raised this when Automated Recurring Giving was scoped at BBcon Sydney in 2018, but it is important for particular days of the week to be available. Our monthly gifts process on two schedules, the first Wednesday and Third Wednesday. We have thousands of Regular Givers on this schedule, and the change-over would be a considerable project.

Could the payment schedules in RE NXT please be updated to match those options available in Database View?
