When using Raisers Edge NXT Integration with Outlook/Gmail, allow attachments to save into the actions
Currently when you set up this integration, you can send an email to someone's action in Gmail/Outlook but it doesn't send the attachment. If you then go to that person's record to add the attachment to the action that was created, it won't allow you to add the attachment to that action, you have to create a new action. This integration should allow attachments to go from Gmail to RE NXT or if that isn't possible at least be able to edit the action and add an attachment at a later date.

I just learned this today. If you click on the Action (action type is in blue), it opens the Action record. You will see the tile to add the attachment). Ideally we would like it attached when creating the action. I will add my vote.
Yes! It is frustrating that we are trying to use this tool, and it doesn't allow adding an attachment later. If it would automatically attach it would be helpful, but at the least enable editing afterwards.
Hi @Nic Meredith, I hope you're still on this forum! I'm having the same issues with saving emails as an Action from Outlook then not being able to edit the action to add an attachment.
I'm not sure where you mean by accessing the constituent in list form. Are you able to please share a screenshot?
If you click on the Constituent name in list form, it should bring up the record as a side bar with the option to View Record at the top. If you keep it in this view however, you can add the attachment/document there and it records it in the same action after the fact. Hope that's clear?! If not let me know and I will screen shot for you.
