On the Constituent view of NXT in the “Notes and actions” panel, number of Actions visible to users is limited to most recent 20 (4 pages each of 5 actions) even though the total at the top in blue may be greater.
When a user applies a filter it is still working only within those 20 available Actions, not the full set which is misleading to the user. The availability of a filter indicates to the user they have the power to control what is displayed, and in this instance we learn they do not.
The Appeals panel does not have this limitation, so for consistency this shouldn’t either.
Thanks
Now I found the solution - click on the number of actions at the top of the panel e.g. "58 actions" and you can see the full list of ALL actions, the same as "Work with gifts" does for gifts.
It works but is not very intuitive.
I just reported this bug to support, now I find it has been known about for over four years! FYI As a work around you can see ALL the actions in the work centre if you filter to that donor using the search.
I came here looking for an idea suggesting "Work with" for all one to many lists like we have with gifts. Only being able to see 5 actions at a time is very restrictive when you are used to using database view and seeing them all at once.
Yes! This needs to be fixed. Or at the very least, there should be a note at the top of this module saying that only the first 20 actions are included here and where to click to get all the actions -- our fundraisers have been confused many times by this and have thought actions aren't pulling through from database view. It is not very obvious at all. A 'Work with Actions' window as suggested would be ideal and much more intuitive.
The "Giving History" tile gives me the option to "Work with Gifts" and opens a separate window with all gifts for easier viewing. I'd love to see a "Work with Actions" link that opens a window to view all actions - the 20 currently displayed five per page, and anything beyond that too.
