Enter New Constituents in NXT

I searched and searched and couldn't find a post to vote on for this. I'm sure there must be one, so if there is, share in the comments and I'll go vote on it.  PLEASE let us enter new constituents in NXT. My team is so frustrated that this isn't possible yet.

Nice that they added this. I used it today and it's easier to enter via NXT than the dataview though I am drawn to click on the tabs and the "required" boxes to fill in data. Hopefully, they'll add marital status to this and maybe to add custom fields.

I am so glad to see that this functionality has a status of "Planned".  I was just in a meeting with all of our Major Gift Officers and they were requesting the ability to add new constituents.  I was wondering if there is an estimated time for the release of this functionality?

I like the idea to allow a Fundraiser to submit a new constituent/contact request.  Not sure I want them to be able to enter it directly.  Request new indiv/company/contact FORM with basic fields so an Admin could do the leg work to determine how best to enter the information.

Even if we can't fully enter all necessary data, just the ability to enter a new Record with the basics and then to add Actions and/or Proposals...and have NXT alert the DBA and/or the person who entered the record to finish it later in RE:7.

You might consider a workaround of some dummy records you create in 7, with fundraiser name and a number in the Lastname field so they can find one in NXT, then they can add a Note with the Constituent Info, and whatever Actions they want to add to the Record.  Periodically, someone goes in to find all of those Dummy Records that have been changed by someone else, move the data from a Note to the Const Record, and at least it's in there with all the appropriate Actions already on the record.
