Much needed - why isn't this an option?

I don't understand how this is not a thing. It is SO ridiculously annoying to have to download, open the latest desktop file and then run a query just to send a quick letter to a handful of people. That's INSANE.

This would be a total game changer for me. Please add this function!

This is a much needed function.

The lack of addressee and salutation in NXT lists makes the functionality almost not worth it. If there is an option to have this information in RE, then it should be accessible when trying to pull the information out.

Please add this functionality! I am doing follow up after an event and love the ability to export a list from a event (via Lists), but can't easily do a mail merge because there is no add/sal field! Or give admin the ability to modify the list export template. This seems like basic functionality and would be so helpful.

NXT NEEDS a mailing list function. It will make the system so much usable.

NXT lists are not intended to be used as mailing lists and IMHO they should NOT be - especially for bulk communications. Adding fields such as Addressee and Salutation would only encourage their use for an unintended purpose so I would actually prefer that this change not be made. If it is made, admins should have the ability to select the fields that users can include in their exports (ideally with the option to permit different fields for different security groups) so that they can enforce their organization's policies on list pulls.

Seriously BB? Export has been ignored long enough! Addressee, salutation, class year... the list goes on (pun intended). NXT export has languished for so long that it's having a negative impact on user migration from DB View to NXT. How do you expect people to migrate when the simplest of tasks can't be accomplished? Time to review your development priorities BB!

Do frustrating that this is not already an option on NXT. The lists generated are so much better than the database view, but without Addressee and Salutations it makes making mailing list and mail merge table a nightmare.

How is this not already a function in NXT!? It makes the export option useless for our purposes.

I have asked for this feature as well. In addition, I was disappointed the addressee and salutation columns disappear when creating a list from a static query with these outputs. NXT would be soooo much more functional. I could use for annual fund and when using merge for appointment requests.

Yes, please! Really need this function. Without it, I cannot pull any query lists from NXT.

Yes, please make this change. I would like to use NXT for so much more than I do, and the addressee and salutation fields will help with many tasks.
