I understand how this is frustrating to users who work from one device in one location, perhaps behind a locked door.  But, as a DBA, knowing how my users access our records from multiple devices and locations (which is the intended purpose of NXT), I think that security is often more important than inconvenience. I also discourage my users from saving their login credentials within their browsers.  Being able to pick up someone's device and not do any hacking at all to get into their secure information because everything is saved for their convenience...too easy.

It's an inconvenience to me as a DBA because I'm regularly helping people reset the passwords that they've forgotten, but it's worth it because the data is more secure.  

I could support an option to edit the timeout window, because not all institutions operate alike, though.

It's not so bad if your login credentials are saved or you login with Google, but if the internet connection is slow, waiting for the page to reload is annoying.
