Custom Refresh rate on Dashboards/Insights

I cannot be the only one who thinks a 2-4 hour window is too large a refresh time for all Dashboards/Insights.

My boss's are looking for current numbers and if I enter a gift in Database view or NXT I need it to show up on a Dashboard as close to immediately as possible. Having to explain 3 or 4 times to the higher ups that "yes, we did get that gift in today" or "no, I didn't forget to enter it today, it's in there". Is getting a bit overwhelming.

If it needs to be 5 mins, 10 mins, 30 mins, I think we could accept that. but 2-4 random hours is too long.
