Make Custom Fields Sortable

When viewing custom fields in NXT (Attributes in RE) it would be helpful to be able to sort them in different orders so that I can immediately see what I need rather than scrolling through many to find one most relevant to the constituent.

Yes, would like to be able to sort so newest added is on top!

We have so many custom fields that it is so easy to loose things in the pile of them that each constituent has. I completely vote for more sort-ability - it just goes to proves that Blackbaud still have a lot to do to NXT to get it up to the standards of database view, before they turn DV off.

Agree! Ability to sort by date and value are essential for ALL custom fields! For example, in web view you can sort membership custom fields by alpha but not by date or value. We have to scroll through pages to find the most recent date or specific value; so time consuming!! In database view, you can sort by many more columns which makes finding what you need fast and easy.

In addition to what was already said, if you could select a few fields as your FAVORITES that would be awesome as well.

This would be so helpful. I would like to see an option to sort by 'When added (newest to oldest)' and vice versa. But as the original suggestion was posted almost 6 years ago, I can't see it happening anytime soon!

I've been waiting for a while also.  In addition to the sorting option, I agree with ability to hide Custom Fields that are marked as Inactive, and filtering on Custom Fields.

Have been waiting for this for a while. I like Jen Claudy's idea to hide inactive custom fields/attributes as well.

Could we have filtering available on the custom field values too please\

It would also be great to be able to hide Attributes that are marked as Inactive in RE7.
