View record properties
For various audit or troubleshooting purposes, it is valuable to have access to record information such as who added, date added, who edited, date edited, etc.
This request asks for the capability to view this information in webview, to reduce the need to switch back to database view.

Needed for so many things!
I would like to filter by the Date Added field in a gift list without exporting to Excel
I need this for Actions as well

I just did a quick search and didn't see one for that specific task. If you want to create it you could always post the link here to see if this same group wants to take a look and we can see how the vote count stacks up.
Ah, so it's just shipped for constituent records then. I was hoping to see this for gift information as well. Is there another idea bank item to vote on for this, or should I start one?
This has been released. There is now an option to View constituent properties from the Constituent summary tab in NXT. This will display the same data found in the database view properties window.
I'm hoping this is still being considered. This would be very useful in many scenarios in web view.
it would be great if it was also possible to see who changed specific information... much like Zeidman's offering of Audit Trail

Yes, as a DBA I often need to know when a record was added or modified, which is one of the reasons I have to spend more of my time in the database view than in the web view. I know this information could clutter the streamlined tiles in the web view, but it would be helpful if there was a link or separate area (just one idea) where we could view more of the details that are currently only visible on the back end to certain Blackbaud staff.
Absolutely agree. IN FACT, we think it is essential to add new contacts on the go - through a camcard/scanner option from phone. Will add in as a seperate idea -- and hope everyone votes a big yes for the idea!
Yes, the properties are useful and necessary for many uses, date added, date last changed, and who changed it as well as the import Id's. All are going to need to be accessible somewhere in NXT when the database goes away in the future
Absolutely! I look at this all the time and it is very helpful. I also query on this frequently.
