Currently I have trouble with identifying portfolios for fundraisers with the current setting being any active solicitor record on RE Classic. It would be better to allowed in the control panel as a Data Manager to be able to set the solicitor type myself basing it off the primary solicitor for a portfolio (I use the code 'Relationship Manager' and their is only one allowed per constituent record). Alternatively, allow some kind of hierarchy system (in case in the future I want to make this system available to Trustees who are volunteer support canvassers), meaning I can set security rights based of solicitor type and giving me the ability to show only what I wish to show to that fundraising group....
This is a must for us. Our gift officers have donor prospects (Fundraiser Type=Primary Manager), and they also have physician relationships (Fundraiser Type=Physician Liaison). I need for our gift officers to be able to FILTER on this type when looking at their portfolios.
I think this is much like what I'm looking for. We're setting up Fundraising teams. I'd like for my team captains to be able to view the portfolios of the members of their team, but not everyone else who is a fundraiser. Right now it's all or nothing. I'd like to see more granular permissions for this feature!
