Auto populate GL Post date with BBMS disbursement date

it would be a small but helpful time saver if the GL Post Date would simply be automatically populated with the date from the disbursement calendar, rather than me having to take the time to decipher the calendar.

    This would be a time saver for direct debit gifts. Each week when I pull a list of gifts based on GL Date in order to match them up with our BBMS distribution report, I have to open and manually change GL Dates on a dozen direct debit gifts which were not disbursed according to their GL Date.

    I think this is not a small request but a huge one. Having to manually adjust GL Post to try and line up - especially with Direct Debits is very time consuming. Option B would be to have disbursement date populate as a custom field - that way again we could build lists based on that for reconciliation.

    Agreed, this would be a huge help. It would also be great if BBMS fees could be updated accurately onto the gift as a split.
