Who said that the fund was the most important coding of a gift? For my org, fund tells the designation of their gift, but the appeal tells us why they gave, which is more important to our fundraisers. Was it a personal solicitation, direct mail, giving day, grant, sponsorship, etc? Give the user the ability to decide if they want to view Campaign, Fund, or Appeal, OR multiple columns. When a fundraiser is on the phone, they need to quickly see the big picture, and fund, at least for my org, does not help in that instance.
