While the new feature is great for some; it doesn't solve the entire issue. We need a drop down list that we can "order" for them to choose from. Other wise donor's can put anything they want. We have over 150 funds. I don't want to create more if I don't have to.

The feature that was released is moving forward, but we want to be able to have a drop down table of the funds they can use instead of writing in.

Please have the New Text Box be required for only the gift comments when Other designation is selected. Currently gift comments if marked as required will affect any designation. TX

This feature is invaluable to us! During surveys, our donors consistently tell us that the ability to designate their gift to specific service lines and/or programs is one of the most important reasons they have to donate. This feature is extremely important for tribute giving.

This is NEEDED before we move from OLX to NXT donation forms. We have too many donors who are paying on pledges or making donations for unique one-off campaigns/appeals that need to 'write-in' what they are giving to. Having a comments section that isn't required if they choose a particular "other" fund doesn't work because it isn't a required field and we don't have the bandwidth to follow up with everyone. Why isn't this planned yet?

I am creating URL parameters for some of our donors just so they can make a payment on a pledge. If this "other" field worked so the donor could either put in a short description of the fund ID we give them, then I would not have to spend time spinning up links that will only be used by 1 donor. This other option could also link to the "search" web component as well.

We are looking to move to NXT donation forms. However, for a lot of our forms they require an 'other' option. We need to have this option to move these forms over to NXT donation forms.

We were recently forced by Blackbaud to move to NXT donation forms and I'm quite disappointed that there is still no ability to select an "other" option after over two years of clients asking for it.

I have leadership, MGOs, donors, and board members request this often. I just had this request two days ago from an MGO, and about a month ago from a board member. The search function NXT provided a while ago is too clunky. We need a real, workable option so donors feel we are listening to them.

We also have to have an "other" option and can't move to the new form until this is available. Our donors have varying reasons for giving a gift and we can't anticipate every reason in our fund list.

We will not be able to move to the new platform with being able to allow other funds. We can't anticipate every reason why a donor wants to give, so though we list popular or time-relevant funds in our fund list, we have to be able to give donors an option to tell us that they're giving for another reason.

As others have said: we cannot move to NXT donation forms until this is available.

This would be very helpful as it's yet another reason I haven't fully switched over to NXT forms.

This is needed!!! can't move to NXT until this is added - way to many funds for a drop down!!

With a conditional logic field, donors are prompted to see that come up versus a comment section that will be easily overlooked because it's static.

I concur with Sarah Starr Zechman and other colleagues regarding "other" and/or conditional logic within the donation pages.
