There are many options not available in Lists such as multiples of the same filter, building based off information not specific to the type of List (aka constituent filters in a Gift list, etc), and more. If a List is built off a static query, the information does not update. This makes Lists extremely limited and forces staff to continue to use Queries which are not as straightforward to unexperienced staff and does not have the links and options a List does.
