Allow building of Insights based on static queries

As with Action lists, the lack of custom field filters make Insight Designer of limited use to us.  Many of our important metrics are based on on custom field values.  Our work around the lack of custom field filters in Action Lists is to create static queries that are regularly updated in Queue and then to build our lists on those queries.  Allowing us to build insights on static queries would significantly increase Insight Builder's value.

    Agree! But we hope to build accurate donor analysis dashboards where soft credit recipient donors who give through DAFs and other fundations/organizations are counted as donors instead of those facilitation organizations, because these ppl drive the donations and we will reply on this analysis to plan our engagement/fundraising/stewardship. Allowing to build insights based on static queries will hopefully make this an reality. Thank you!

    I am having the same difficulty. Could you provide more information on how you are using static queries and queue to update them? We have queue but using it to update static queries is new to me and would love to know how to do that. Thanks!
