Fundraiser goals (entered through database view) that are allocated to specific Campaigns, Funds, or Appeals currently show in Work Center. However, other goals that are not distributed to one of those records do not show. It would be helpful if thy did for organizations that set up overall goals for their Fundraisers (as opppsed to granular goals by CFA).

Since this idea is specifically referencing Work Center, I’m going to edit it to reference the fact that goals that are not specific to a Campaign, Fund, or Appeal do not show on this tile. The hope was that organizations could adjust their goal setting for Fundraisers to apply to those things, but I certainly understand the “overall goal” concept. Having this idea open for voting should help us understand how many organizations set financial goals for their fundraisers that are not tied to CFA records.
I’ll also add that I think the idea mentioned above for tracking Fundriaser progress toward goal on Fund records sounds like a great (but separate) idea that should be posted if it doesn’t already exist.
In addition, there are other Ideas in this Idea bank dedicated to establishing new “goal” concepts (based on Actions and Opportunities for example).
Agree with Kate - our goals are based on face to face visits (action=meeting) and dollars raised (cash and pledges), total opportunities and total funded opportunities.
My solicitors and leadership do not have goals tied to a specific fund, campaign, or appeal. Our solicitors have goals based on a variety of factors that are set at the beginning of the year and the gifts they raise, regardless of appeal, fund, or campaign, are credited to them and counted towards their goals. We have to go outside of NXT to track and report on goals and progress to those goals since there is not currently a solution to fit our operations.
To further clarify - in Analyze on a fund or campaign record, not in Work Center. For instance, I have 25 volunteers raising money for a specific fund, and they each have goals. If I look at the fund record in Analyze, i can see the list of fundraisers and their goals, but not how much each has raised toward their goal. I dont want to have to go into each fundraiser's work center individually each time i want to see Solicitor Progress. Does that make sense?
The goals exist, but the fundraising toward that goal does not exisit. So I can't see how much a solicitor has raised toward their goal. It would be very helpful to look at the fund record and see a list of solicitors with their goal/amount raised to goal. Hope this helps clarify.
I wanted to check in on this idea real quick to make sure I understand the request. Currently, all Campaign, Fund, and Appeal goals (created from the "Details" view of a Solicitor record in database view) do show on the Goals tile in Work Center (on the Overview tab). Does this satisfy this particular request? Or am I misunderstanding? I just want to make sure if I close it as "Already exists" I'm not overlooking the additional request that this idea represents.
