Add ability to specify a fund for each event fee

The ability to add more than one fund to an event would help us actually utilize the event registration forms (in either BBNC or NXT) for event registrations. We have multiple funds associated with events and different levels of participation. We also offer the ability to make an additional donation or purchase raffle tickets for events. All of the options for events registrants are linked to different funds. Currently we have to use Jotform as a workaround even though we have both BBNC and Events module. Please fix this so we can use the database the way it is intended.

    It won't, as a rule, always be the same fund for the non-deductible portion.

    One additional question - for the non-deductible portion of the fees - is that fund for the non-deductible portion the same across different fees, and just the deductible portion of the fee is different?

    I'm going to split your idea into 2 separate ideas, one for the funds per fee, and one for the funds for deductible and non-deductible aspect.

    Also, you may want to vote for this existing idea.     Thank you for your prompt response. We want to be able to assign more than one fund to a fee.

    Here is the main issue: We don't use Blackbaud's split gift function, and the deductible and non-deductible portions of event registration fees are charged to different funds, requiring 2 distinct rows in a gift batch. That's the end goal. We NEED to be able to add more than one fund to an event, otherwise the event registration forms don't meet our needs. Hence our current workaround of using Jotform.


    Related to that.....our organization offers the ability to make an additional donation and some events have raffles associated with them, etc...

    We want all of these options to be on the same event registration form with the ability to associate different funds with any of the event registration options, or more than one fund to a single fee.

    P.S. This exact same idea was submitted to the RE7 idea bank as well, as the same issue exists in RE7. We use both.

    Hi! It sounds like you want to be able to assign each fee its own fund, is that correct?

    We've had the request before to be able to assign a different fund to the registration fees versus any additional donations but I have not seen an ask yet to go the granularity of each fee. Just wanted to make sure I clarify that before I tailor the idea name a bit to properly reflect the per event fee part.
