Add "pay later" for event registration form
I want to let optionally allow people register for my event and select to pay later to indicate they're planning to pay when they come to the event.
I don't need this to write a pledge record, just the fee with no payment so I can track what participants haven't paid.

This functionality is now available. You can learn more about it under the Allow event registrants to pay later and additional Events enhancements topic in What’s New.
When you enable the "Include pay later option for registration fees" option on a registration form, you can decide whether you want a pledge created for the unpaid fees or not.
Also - while the original poster doesn't care if it creates a pledge, our preference would be that it does - or at least you have the option to create a pledge.
PLEASE! For our gala events, sponsors who are sending in 5-figure payments often need to pay via check or wire transfer later. We desperately NEED this option!!!!
When will this be available in NXT? It would be very helpful for sponsors!
Is there any update on this requested feature? As the "bill me later" was an option in OE events, I'm hoping it's just a matter of time before it is added to NXT events, particularly with the module supporting the manual addition of unpaid registrations and linking of payments through the Participants block. I second the requester's note about not needing a pledge created, just an event registration record with items marked as unpaid. Thanks!
Also helpful for sponsors who can't use a credit card to pay sponsorship, as they need an invoice.
Would be very helpful for participants who prefer to pay via check but still get that data entry handled by the guest, especially as ACH is not available through the event forms as a payment option currently.
This would be SO helpful! I ended up creating a $0 admission for some events and then had to go and adjust things in DB view to show certain participants still owed money.
