Specifically, for the moment, the giving statement is pulling an addressee type that doesn't even exist in our records. I want to be able to choose the salutation that I/my donors prefer - I just sent one to a donor and it's like we don't even know who she is - the salutation that appeared on the statement is some made up hybrid of her nickname, middle name, and last name and it annoyed her - not helpful! Also, I sent another statement to a couple and it comes out with only the husband's name - also not helpful.
This request is in multiple places, please be sure to vote on the highest voted one: "Customized PDF of giving statement and receipts with our OWN WORDING and BRANDING"
The giving statement as it exists is useless. Need to be able to include a couple (even defaulting to primary addressee would be better than just constitutent name) and there is no way to indicate benefit amounts. Should be able to brand with the organization name and logo. Agree receipt is a useless field.
The giving statement can be a double edge sword. Donors simply need to know how much they gave for a giving tax year and the donor language. They don't need to see every gift entry with confusing names such as pay cash vs cash. Why can't we add a logo and customize the header or merge fields without having to buy another tool?
I agree. There definitely needs to be more room to add text that we need to include on the statement. We were not able to fit the required IRS statement due to the terribly small character limit.
Yes, I agree with Hannah about not needing receipt information. It will confuse donors when some of their gifts have a blank receipt #/date. We also need to add wording that the IRS requires.
Need ability to add logo and remove columns that aren't relevant. For example, right now we use DB View Acknowledgments, so we aren't generating a Receipt # for each gift. So, we don't need Receipt # to show on statement.
Also the ability to add logo or additional langauge.
