Discount or promo codes in RE NXT
We have a charity golf tournament and cater to sponsors and individuals. We sell extras (raffle tickets, etc.) to golfers whether they are on a sponsored team or playing as an individual. Here's the problem: green fees are included in sponsorships, but we need to collect green fees from individuals so we can't use the same form. If there was a discount/promo code for the sponsored golfers to use, they could still buy the extras while the individual golfers buy extras in addition to their green fees. One form. Accurate. Convenient. Efficient.

Yes we need a discount code for events! Ideally with the option to add more than one discount code so there can be different discounts offered to different users. It is cumbersome having to direct people to different forms depending on which fee they need to pay, and I know we have lost money on event advertising this year because someone used the wrong form.
We just launched an event using another company's platform so that we could offer a discount code. The "workaround' of using a different link is not convenient when promoting an event through mass emails and printed materials.
There's a work around for this limitation - just creating a separate registration fee that is "free" and defining a limit of the capacity for this fee can help make up for not having a separate workflow for promo codes. This "fee" which is $0 or any other defined cost can be added to a separate event form linked to the event in NXT which can be distributed to staff/sponsors/special VIP individuals/etc who you want to define a promotional rate for.
This would help us a lot with an event where we don't charge our staff and volunteers to attend but we do sell tickets to the public.
This is absolutely needed, we allow honorees to attend our awards luncheon with a promo code, ask VIPs to attend events with a promo code, etc.
Needed as we have many events where members are free and others pay a fee!

It would be extremely beneficial to be able to provide discounts to our volunteers and constituents.
We would love the option to have promo/discount codes for Event Registrations. If added, capability to customize the discount would be ideal. For example, discount code is good for two tickets, so when someone purchases four tickets, it discounts the two tickets only and not the whole cart.
We would love a discount/promo code for our Ball. There is a desire to have a "free" link available to certain individuals but it cannot show on the regular registration page. A code would be super.
being able to give certain guests a discount code to use, or using it as a last minute way to drive event sales, a coupon code would be so helpful!

I would rather stay with RENXT to complete my online registrations, but we need a discount code!!!!
We like to offer discounts on fundraising event tickets to previous donors/previous event attendees as a thank you, and right now, we're having to create two separate event ticket forms (one with discounted prices, one with full-price) in order to accomplish this. Having a promo or discount code feature would be extremely helpful and would eliminate a lot of extra legwork.
This is a reason we are not using NXT because other platforms allow discount codes. Seems like an easy add.
We would use discount codes for gala fundraising events as well. Students, staff spouses, group sales, service organizations, etc., all might have different codes. Right now, those have to be processed manually, defeating the advantages of an automated form in terms of staff time and record accuracy.
