The reference date for payments made using the "Other" gift payment type show in American format in the gift payment details on the gift screen in RE NXT. Everywhere else on this screen shows using the localised settings. Eg for a gift processed on October 6, 2020, it shows everywhere as 6/10/2020 except for the Payment Information section which shows 10/6/2020:

Reference number: Bank deposit

Reference date: 10/6/2020

To confirm, in the above example, the date for us should actually be 6/10/2020 and this is how it shows everywhere else including in the database view. Screenshot attached for further clarification as well.
