Especially when entering gifts processed through other sites (like community giving days, e.g. Giving Tuesday or Peer-2-Peer fundraising, etc) those sites often take a fee. In Database view you can enter the actual amount received less the fee, but still enter a receipt for the donor for the full gift-intended amount. For some reason you can't do this in NXT. This is helpful for reconciling with accounting departments at the end of the year when many small gift amounts don't fully match. DonorPerfect Online and other similar platforms allow this.
