In the database view, we have a business rule set that creates a record for a surviving spouse when a constituent is marked deceased. Part of that rule also automatically soft credits all gifts in the deceased constituent's record to the new surviving spouse's record. This helps us give the surviving spouse full donor recognition credit for lifetime giving received from the couple. This soft credit does not occur if we mark the constituent deceased in NXT. Can NXT be configured to perform this automatic soft credit?
