We are hoping that the ability to delete an automated recurring gift will be a feature coming soon. We recently ran into a situation when adding a recurring gift, there was an error thrown in NXT and then 4 of the same gift were created in error. But because we cannot delete automated recurring, we are now left with 3 terminated gifts that shouldn't have been there in the first place. Mistakes happen and being able to delete them would be ideal.
