Please allow us to post negative gift amounts
It is useful for Refunds, Scholarships, Bounced Checks, Credit Card fees that come directly out of the gift before we get it, etc.

This is not only disappointing, but also very ridiculous. Dispersals are, unfortunately, a part of donations.
The inability of Raiser's Edge NXT to track the negative portion of a donation makes it impossible to verify Gift Batch totals with the source documentation. This is a serious shortcoming to the software package, where you would recommend workarounds and multiple steps to accomplish what just one keystroke (-) would solve. Thank you.
We have been using Donor Database software systems for 35 years and this is
the first Donor Database system that does not allow negative gift amounts.
