My organization has previously created and tracked events in Database view. When I took over the database I began creating and tracking events in NXT which has of course a lot less fields, but mostly had what we need it for. As we are transitioning to do as much as possible in NXT these days, I wanted to make a general note about an event today, to note who/what/how/why were in the initial invite, and other summaries to look back on for next year (that are visible to more than just me in my OneNote) I realized there is no note functionality for events in NXT.

I went back to database view and sure enough there are notes there! Hoping that this was on the Feature grid I checked but BOTH Event notes and Event actions show as Not yet decided https://host.nxt.blackbaud.com/renxt-features-grid/). There is no other place to record any notes directly tied to an event. I don't want to record notes like this in every participant record, that's silly, so if we want to record anything else aside from Category, Group, Capacity and Event goal, fees, custom fields, and attachments, where are we supposed to put general event notes so that they're all in one place? And actions tied to an event that are invite wide/event wide should be added too.

We have used the Notes tab for years to track important statistics, venue information, night-of program information, and so much more. Since we use a 3rd party auction software to track some information, we make notes in RE to track things that may otherwise be forgotten post-event when analyzing things. We really need to be able to view these historical notes moving forward, once the DB view goes away. We also need the ability to add such things in the future. While some things could be added elsewhere (e.g. on vendor records), that information will be lost as it is hard to link it directly to the pertinent event. Please, please, please, add this tile to NXT view. Thanks!

In data base view  RE I have a full years of set action tracks by month placed on the event record, that notify each staff member monthly what their tasks are.

Notes about what to add into next years actions tracks, things that were missed this year that I want to remember next year
