Action Tile on Gift Record
I would love to be able to link an Action to a Gift...as you can currently link an Action to a Proposal. Preferably so that the Action is accessible from the Actions Tile of both the Gift Record and the Constituent Record.
This way, when a fundraiser makes a phone call to thank a donor for a gift, we don't have to enter the call as an Action and then duplicate the data entry by adding a Note or Attribute to the Gift. (And add data to the Action to be clear which gift it is that the call is connected to.)

Thank you @Jen Claudy. As we move into increased automation, I am finding I have trouble explaining my manual actions to Power Automate without strong links between records. Adding a Gift ID to an Action Attribute is adding multiple clicks, and requires timing. My gift comes in via USPS, for example, so I set up the Thank You letter action to communication ASAP. However, the gift goes to deposit before gift entry takes place... the Action can't be linked to the gift right away, but when that time comes around, I would like to attach the gift to the Action during data entry. Alternatively, I'd like to add the linked Action during gift entry. I want to be able to automate marking the gift Acknowledged once the Action is completed.
this is still very much needed and the ability to link actions directly to a gift is very important for stewardship actions - tying thank you calls, follow-ups, to a specific gift is essential especially for major giving.
YES! I'm trying to report on the effectiveness of the Fundraiser with the Donor. Our Fundraiser's add their Actions into RE, BUT there is no way to relate that action's outcome and liink it to the Gift. Our Fundraiser's don't generally use Proposals and therefore being able to link the Actions Tile to the Gift Record and the Constituent Record would be perfect.
AGREE! I'm doing double entry to have action info added to gifts.
