Use the email function in Gmail

We no longer use Outlook, so not only our fundraisers would find this useful, but all support staff in the advancement office would make use of it as well.

      They now have an app for gmail https://webfiles.blackbaud.com/files/support/helpfiles/rex/content/bb-renxt-for-gmail.html

      I agree with Ann.  Our gift processor solely works in Database view so it would be essential for her gmail to connect to it once we migrate from Outlook to Gmail this summer.

      My organization uses Gmail as well.  We were just discussing this week how great it would be if our fundraisers could get their action reminders to go into their gmail calendars to help them with their scheduling.

      My organization uses Gmail.  It would be super to be able to email my donors via Gmail email.

      Thanks for posting the idea Ann! Would you mind elaborating on what you mean by "use the email function"? Are you asking for mailing sent through database view or OLX to use Gmail? Or do you want a gmail email to open when you click on an email address in NXT? or something else?
