Default Soft Credits in Gift Batch
Much like being able to default honor/memorials or split gifts in batch, it would be handy to be able to default soft credits within them too. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to add the same soft credit within a batch to an entire group.

Thanks. Good to know, though it would be nice to see those in batch grid. It's a little confusing when all I see is a blank "soft credit" field during batch entry.
@Michele, just want to clarify that what you are asking for is possible today. If you are entering a gift and the constituent on that gift has a spouse where the checkbox is marked to automatically apply soft credits, those will happen immediately and without you needing to select anything. This idea item is for additional soft credit functionality specifically in the defaults area where we want to default a specific soft credit to every gift entered in batch.
In batch grid, the soft credit donor should default to the gift, if the donor has a relationship listed as "automatically soft credit this individual for gifts" in db view. We have a lot of spouse relationships and DAF relationships that automatically receive soft credit, and it really slows down the gift entry if we have to search and wait.
