It would be very useful to be able to configure things like the giving tile on the constituent's record to use receipt amount when showing the lifetime giving figures instead of gift amount. It would also be very helpful if we could configure this in the various analyze graphs as well.
One way of thinking that seems to be quite prevalent is this: Mrs. Smith wins an auction item at your gala for $500. This items fair market value was $600. In RE, their gift amount is $500, their receipt amount is $0. They got a great deal, they did not make a charitable donation. So when you calculate their giving history, that $500 "gift" doesn't count as part of their giving.
I would love this. This is greatly needed for us!
How about showing both? Gross amount and that minus Benefits.
