Adding constituent count on a gift and detail summary report instead of gift count......
It would be great to be able to have both as gift count is somewhat misleading......I think this would especially be helpful when working at a school as we count how many families have made

Someone should go read my comments and screenshots on Brent Reed's 8-5-25 post in The Raiser's Edge Users Group Support Forum on FB, but here is a history lesson: The DOS version of RE included the following columns on the Summary part of Gift Detail and Summary Reports: 1) Campaign, Fund, Appeal, or Constituency; 2) Donor Count; 3)Gift Count, 4) Whatever you set up for the rest of the gift columns (Cash, Stocks Pledge Bal, MG Pledge Bal), 5) Total
The bottom of the report included the Distinct Count of donors and gifts.
I would do almost anything to have the Donor Count back!!! I'm not sure if the OP wanted a count of Donors or a Count of Constituents, but BB should go into the archive, look at the DOS manual, and see how the Summary Reports used to be!
Yes we use this count at the end of the year to verify the number of donors for the year (not all constituents) in the database for our accounting team.
