View GL distribution on a gift record

When viewing a specific gift record, it would be helpful to see the GL distribution. If anyone has a question which account or department a gift was coded to, this would be an easy way to view rather than having to log into the database view to get to that detail.

    Just adding for clarification sake - this is an option in database view on the gift record itself. You go to the View menu and select View GL Distribution to view the GL Distribution as it was on the gift when it was posted.

    The GL Distribution at a gift level is an absolute necessity for me. I am one year into my position and frequently (sometimes daily) find myself looking at the GL distribution to see where a previously posted gift was coded. Additionally, I run a monthly export by Campaign (which equates to our major program areas). I then group them a certain way for my CAO and CEO. Within each grouping, the details include the GL distribution/project code. It is a really quick way to identify errors prior to and even after posting to FE.
