Right now in order to see the sponsors for an event you have to go all the way into the database view. In webview you search for a constituent that is a sponsor and the records found are 0. When you try to add the individual to the event, it says they are already in the event. This is confusing also because webview tells you the total amount raised for an event, but if you can't see your sponsors and who donated how much its very irritating.
Looks like this should be combined with RE7-I-6140.
Please, please, please consider this functionality. As corporate giving officer at my organization, where all of our events are sponsored with multiple levels available, it would save me so much time if the events tile in constituent (organization) records in webview was more inclusive of the sponsor's participation at the events.
I am in disbelief that I need to ask for this to be added. It's as if sponsored events don't exist. Working in two separate databases is really inefficient and ineffective.
I'm sorry but I'm just so annoyed with all the double work we are having to do with this system. In particular, the removal of Microsoft Suite which I used to create acknowledgments with one click.
Being able to view Sponsors is crucial for the Major Donors' Officer as they work on the go and need that fast access to pull the data. As webview is constantly growing to become the main source of data it would only make sense for sponsors to be viewable.
This functionality is essential for managing events. It is mind boggling that this is not an option in webview.
Agreed - The Web view is not yet helpful, as it only is presenting Constituents who have a Registrant participation, therefore anyone who has actually Sponsored the event is not viewable in Web view. I have not offered this view to our Major Gift Officers, who would really find that information helpful to have at their fingertips when interacting directly with sponsors and sponsor prospects. Please make this a priority as it is vital to Event Fundraing as well as Event Management.
