Add Batch ID to Gift details in Merchant Services

One issue that we are having is the data transparency between RE and Merchant Services. For example: I am trying to reconcile the gifts we have in RE vs What our business office has. We kept seeing gifts that the business office had as outstanding that were earmarked with the merchant services transaction list and the Name and Amt, but we had no outstanding batches to be approved. For example, we had a gift from a John Smith for X amount showing in the Transaction list, but when I go to RE John Smith's constituent profile, there were no gifts and none pending approval. When I click on the details of the gift on the transaction list, there really wasn't much help. There were some details such as the application the money was solicited from. but it was just a generic "Online Giving_RENXT_Standard Donation Form" which did not help narrow down which donation form this was given on. The next thing is the Transaction ID, which to the average RE user won't help much.

I had to go into the chat support and speak to a live assistant for him to search the Transaction ID to find the batch number to then find that even though the transaction list had the name as John Smith, the Constituents name was actually Sylvester Smith (Not actual names). Not even close to the same. I was then told I have to search these by making a new Query for every single individual outstanding BBMS gift, which clearly can happen a lot for wild reasons.

It would be very helpful if in the detail section for the Transaction List gifts, there was a Gift Batch ID, which would tell us where exactly to look for these confusing gift entries.

This feature would benefit our Finance and Accounting team, as we operate outside the U.S. Eastern time zone. Currently, the BBMS disbursement reports and the amounts received in our accounts do not align with the gift dates shown in these reports.

Just need to add this as a criteria option in queries. It would make sense to be under attributes. Our Finance Department struggles with the data posted from RE to FE and transactions from Merchant Services
