Most data in RE is a composite of data scattered across other systems in the organisation. Having the ability to effectively manage unique ID's to clearly identify people between systems is very important. Given SSN# is not and will not be migrated to RENXT, we need more comprehensive structured functionality on Alias so that we can manage limiting duplication. Custom field while having the ability to be unique is not treated as a identifier so cannot be used in the same way. We need better rules on matching records on import, search and duplicate management to improve and maintain data quality and have a clear 360 degree view of our contacts/customers.
