We are trying to make our gift processing and also letters & receipting as automatic/efficient as possible. I understand that there are plans to be able to mass update an entire column of values in the grid in the batch entry in grid view. This is a little different: I am wondering if it would be possible in the near-future to have several key field/column values assigned (in addition to the template column configurations) based on the donation form (because of limitations on picklists etc in donation forms, we use many forms to track donations for various appeals and subsets of people contacted). These would include values on the Appeal, Package, Fund, Acknowledgement Status, and Receipt Status fields, and Do Not Post on the Post Status field. Also totally open to hearing suggestions for workarounds in the near-term, including in database view, and anything other people and organizations are doing to process gifts more quickly when they are coming in via forms and/or are recurring gifts. Also curious what people are doing with regard to receipting for monthly donors, perhaps in addition to an annual letter and thank you(s) at some point(s) during the year; and if they are accomplishing that receipting functionality within the grid. Also, anyone feeling like their letter process is particularly streamlined and awesome? We currently have lots of templates and are using LetterBox, where you click into each letter. I feel like there is a faster way that preserves time for more meaningful personalization of letters. Thanks Everybody! Amanda
