When opening a new batch created from gift forms, it would be useful if applying a template with a new field could automatically populate all empty fields with the default value defined in that template. Currently, the subtype field is not included in the online donation form, which forces users to apply a template afterward to add the subtype and then manually enter a value for each transaction in the batch. Automatically filling empty fields with the template’s default value would significantly speed up this process.
